A like Anusara & Ayurveda

A is becoming lately one of the most important letters in my life…

A comme Anusara :

Anusara is the yoga style I discovered a few years ago, and changed my life in so many levels. The spirit and the foundation of Anusara Yoga is related to the famous three A’s : Attitude, Alignment & Action.

– Attitude refers to the power of the heart, as the force behind every expression in an asana.

– Alignment is the mindful awareness of how various parts of us are integrated and interconnected.

– Action represents the natural flow of energy in the body, which provides stability and joyful freedom.

A comme Ayurveda :

Then, after my training in Anusara Yoga, I decided to return to India, to learn more about Ayurveda, this complex, ancient science, and a remarkable, so efficient system of preventive medicine and daily lifestyle.

Once upon a time, there were 2 sisters, Ayurveda and Yoga, united around the Sanatana Dharma, paths to the Eternal Truth. “Ayurveda is the Vedic science of healing for both body and mind. Yoga is the Vedic science of Self-realization that depends upon a well-functioning body and mind” (David Frawley, Yoga and Ayurveda, 1999). The practice of the 2 sciences as a lifestyle is an achievement of their independent goals, Ayurveda for its health implications and Yoga for its mental and spiritual dimension.
